But you see, it CAN happen.

Like the Vikings, Bengals, Cowboys, etc. wouldn't be ****ed if they lost Jefferson, Chase, Lamb, etc.

Yes, we need Travis Kelce this year, who didn't know that before his injury?

It’s the same shit that got spouted when Tyreek got traded.

“We don’t win the Super Bowl without Wasp and I don’t see any WRs on the team who can run Wasp!!!”

Uhhh ok. Then run something else instead of Wasp

Tyreek is a once in a generation player, there's nothing like him so you won't just replace him.

That doesn't mean you won't move the ball.

Blind. This is one of the fastest WR groups in the nfl.

With a healthy Kelce and a normal version of Toney that doesn’t have drop problems, we BLOW DETROIT OFF THE FIELD.

They needed us to be without 2/3 of our best players, convert a fake punt, us to have 8 drops and for a handful of other uncharacteristic things to happen to win by a point.

I expect a hyper focused group to dismantle the Jaguars something nasty Sunday.

Even then, we win without the fluky pick 6.

We also had folks suggest that Reek wouldn't do ANYTHING in Miami because he simply wasn't that good or some****.

I'll eat that crow, but it wasn't for thinking Hill wouldn't do anything without Mahomes, I didn't think Tua had it in him to take advantage of both Hill and Waddle.

While I didn't say anything close to that, I was a big believer early on that not having a cheat code like Tyreek on the team would actually make Mahomes even more dangerous by turning him into a spread-it-around QB.

So I don't know about Tyreek not being good. But his absence turning the Chiefs into a more dangerous team? Absolutely, I still buy into that.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take back Tyreek without a second thought, but I sure as hell wouldn't pay what we got from the Dolphins.

You’d be essentially giving up Karlaftis, Moore, Connor and Coburn

Fwiw - I think he’s more McDuffie + a 3 rather than Karlaftis.

Oh I thought Hill had all the talent in the world. But I certainly suggested that he might become a locker room distraction at best and an on field distraction at worst.

I had doubts Miami was going to get decent return given what they paid in draft picks and salary. But so far, pretty good for them.
