The Dark Side witches used the echo created by the Ahsoka/Sabine mental Force connection to find them.

I don't think that's particularly wonky or overpowered. Pretty in line with normal activity in the universe, really. This planet is also pretty tied to the Dark Side, based on what they've said, which I'm sure they're tapping into.

I LOVED Ahsoka reaching out to Shin to offer to help her.

if they're coming back to the Mordis storyline, Skoll could be chasing becoming the new Father? He walks the line between light and dark, being of neither?

I think that's more likely than diving in to the wonky-as-**** Abeloth stuff. I like Aaron Allston in general, but that stuff was trash.

I agree about Ahsoka reaching out to Shin. That was really nicely in character, and that really fit what Dawson can do well. And Shin is really good at portraying the conflict and self doubt subtly (*cough* Hayden Christensen *cough cough*).

I hadn't thought about Skoll becoming a Mordis God. I have read some stuff speculating that Anakin became one.

I'm not sure I'm dork enough to comment.

I'm not all about that Abeloth stuff. I'm not familiar with it but it sounds weird as shit.

Three things led to me divesting myself of all my Star Wars EU books (keep in mind I had basically every book since Zahn released his masterpiece trilogy):

1) Disney declaring all of the EU books non-canon
2) My wife and I finding out we were having twins, and the library room becoming a second nursery
3) The Abeloth nonsense in the last cleared EU series

It is so, so, so bad. Just so bad. Anakin Skywalker-dialogue-in-AoTC-bad.
