George Pickens posting "Free Me" on IG story

Also supposedly deleted all Steelers content. Unfollowed teammates, coach, and the Steelers page.

If nobody caught it last night, everybody was very happy for Diontae Johnson finally scoring a TD (hasn't since Dec of 2021), and they showed him on the sidelines sulking like a little bitch.

This dude is obviously VERY talented, but he's a ****ing headcase.

Pickens has 52 catches and over 800 yds 3 TDs in 2023. That's also basically his production for 2022. Basically, he's tripled Skyy's output in both 2022 and 2023.

Veach should've taken Pickens instead of Skyy, Never mind the one 195 yd game tonight.

Considering they still have three games against teams with winning records that they have yet to prove they can beat before penciling them in as the #2 seed.

No he shouldn’t have. Both would have been poor picks.

Pickens with shit QB play has over 1600 yds/7 TDs over the last two season. Skyy has?

I mean, this isn't that hard.

I think some on here just enjoy bringing up the Chiefs shoulda drafted ___ over _____ week in and week out. If I get bored I might just look for and quote all those who wanted Quentin Johnson or Zay Flowers. That way each week I can let the same draft gurus know over and over and over and over how they picked the wrong guy. I get it that Moore is not looking like a good pick, but at what point does the “I told you so” get old?

Yeah. Veach needs to stop settling on lesser players in those pockets of the draft just because they fill a need at the time. Did the same thing trading up for Speaks just because he was the last DE in that grouping before it fell off. Well he ended up sucking camel dicks and unfortunately did the same thing with Skyy and got bitten for it again. He's an excellent GM but he's fallen victim to that mentality a couple times now.

Sure I can agree with that assessment. Speaks was a massive flop and Skyy is definitely trending that way as well. But he also got Rice who currently is outplaying both Q Johnson and Flowers, so there’s that. He won’t hit on every pick, but very few if any GMs have as many hits as him which is stunning considering where KC has drafted in the Mahomes era.

I mean, worst case scenario with Pickens is that he's wildly successful but we have to trade him because of his attitude. I'd much rather have that issue than someone who's literally unplayable lol.

Or he could make a business decision and not block on a Mahomes scramble and get our QB hurt.

his attitude sucks for sure. I don't watch college ball much, but I wanted to draft him based on the way he grabbed a safeties fask mask and drove his head into the wall during one of his college games

Or he could be so motivated playing with Mahomes that he'd sell out and block the guy into the stands.

Or do you think he'd be saying "free me" if he was playing with Mahomes? What would his numbers look like if he had Mahomes rather than Pickett and Trubuski. He already has 1000 now with 2 games left with them. You think he'd already have 1300 here?

And plus, Skyy and Toney are already risking Mahomes health by putting him in a position to have to maybe make tackles so it's not like that factor has been solved by not drafting Pickens

Pacheco was the 251 pick in the draft. You could keep bringing up all the idiot players that other teams drafted instead???
