In the TV audio settings it see's the eARC connection and the sound bar shows DIN - DTX virtual X on it's screen yet, I am getting NO sound period! I had to eventually switch to a digital fiber optic cable just so I could get audio. What am I missing here? I am using Roku for TV and have a Sony blu-ray player (no sound what so ever with this device as well). HELP audio guru's!

Typically arc is for when you are using apps from your tv and you want sound through an amp or soundbar.

If you’re using a Roku i don’t believe you need to use the arc input on the tv.

If your soundbar has an input and output, I’d run the Roku hdmi to the input of your soundbar, and then the output of the soundbar to your tv, essentially passing thru the video signal.

If you are using the tv for the video source, that changes things, otherwise, I don’t think u need arc inputs
