What I WOULD try, given the weak red zone efficiency vs MIA and most of the season --- Once past the 50 yard line, I'd try a deep ball on 1st and 10 or 2nd and 5 or less. Several times. Try to bypass that red zone grind altogether.
Use Rice (probably covered) or Watson (more likely) or maybe even Toney. Whoever the third person who can best catch a rainbow pass is. Not MVS (he drops) nor Hardman (gives or can't track ball). This is where we miss Reek so much, dude got open and when he didn't was still able to come up with the ball against dudes in ways that defied logic. |
