Guys I worked with used to have him on in the early 00s. Haven't listened since then, and I'm also surprised he's had a show for that long. I appreciate all the positive things he did in KC, but the radio show was never my cup 'o tea.

I feel like for some reason there are a ton of people in this area obsessed with thinking country music is awesome but this idea that rock doesn't exist is insane.

New rock isn't commercially popular, if it was they would be playing it. Sprint Center and even Arrowhead would have more rock shows if they were. Rock fans killed their own genre by not allowing it go popular.
