Yeah, I know. Just throw it in the dump with the rest of the old stuff. I guess I'll just toss the Defender, Joust and Tempest in there as well. My old Honda mower and Snapper rider are well past their lifetimes. Homelite chainsaws and Mercury inline outboards are also obsolete.

Too bad we live in a throw away society. I don't have the ability to fix surface mount electronics however almost everything else is salvageable and doesn't need to become eWaste.

Valiant effort to spare the environment. But have you stopped to consider that maybe modern tech is more efficient, making it better for the environment than the steam engines you're hoarding?

The main reason I am attempting to save it is that I have several new sets of ink cartridges that I spent a lot of money on. It's old, it's a dinosaur, yet it prints on both sides, scans and does faxes. After messing around with it for a while, I discovered that the printer has multiple timing strips, these strips are used by the printer to setup the position of all parts of the printer. When I first put it back together, I missed the sensor for the carriage position.

So, super glued the broken gear, cleaned up the ink pads and I'm back in business. The WIFI doesn't work because of changes made to how channels are handled so I just plugged it into my switch connected to the router and I can print from anywhere.

Now, why won't that old Honda tiller start?
