It's awfully hard to get nailed THAT hard with a legal hit if you're actually paying attention. It still happens from time to time, but a guy like Lindros just tempted fate way too often.

Oh, and Lindros was more than happy to blow someone up when THEY weren't paying attention. Lindros lived by the sword.

If a guy get blows up it’s usually his fault or a player made a sacrifice to make a play , still technically his fault but acceptable, I met Lindros and he was a dick so karma caught up to him .
