It is with great sadness that I must report the best taco shells ever, are no longer available. Anyone else sad about this?

i was wondering the same. Maybe he holds a patent on the recipe if that's possible.

Old El Paso has carb advantage and now putting Crunchy on regular shells. I never liked OEP shells so I'm not going to be the guinea pig lol.

The live auction for Gladstone Food Products, maker of La Tiara taco shells, concluded on May 19, 2025. The company was put into receivership on March 18, 2025, and was being sold through a closed auction process. The final auction for the top three bidders was held on May 19. The outcome of the auction will determine if the La Tiara brand will be resurrected and available on store shelves again. NMBL Strategies hosted the auction.

That is ones we have switched to. Still very hard and heavy but lower in calories and have a lot of fiber. Eating those makes for nice BMs.

A purchase agreement has been negotiated with a confidential buyer.

The buyer is described in court records as a “large, publicly traded company.”

The proposed sale follows more than 40 initial inquiries from potential buyers.

A hearing is scheduled for May 27 in Clay County Circuit Court.
