One thing I will say about the Brady vs Peyton debate is that Brady did seem to get rattled a lot less than Peyton. Like, you could SEE when Peyton was getting hit a lot. His mechanics would speed up, he’d start dropping down into the fetal position early, etc. To Brady’s credit, he looked cool even when he was under great pressure. I don’t like him but his performance in the AFCCG in Denver in 2015 was insane. He was getting his ass beat but kept coming back for more.

Also, someone here, I think it was tk13, pointed out that Peyton was like a robot looking for the big play. If you dropped everyone back and forced him to take the underneath stuff all game, he’d eventually get frustrated and try to force something down field where you could capitalize on a mistake. Brady was 100% content dumping off little 5 yard passes the entire game and would patiently wait until he saw something open downfield.
High pressure game with lots in the line I’m taking Brady 10/10. That’s the thing that Manning never had. It’s also what Josh,Lamar,Joe are all missing. And that’s what separates those quarterbacks. I’ll always take Mahomes over Jesus in a gotta have it situation. But Brady would be second for me.
