The various movies obviously deserve their own threads once things actually start moving on them, but it seems like we should have a place just for general discussion about what they're planning. So here ya go.

Thunderbolts was really enjoyable, better than I was anticipating. I really enjoyed Lewis Pullman as Sentry; he nailed the role I thought. Decent humor with jokes that landed more often than they didn't. I'll echo the sentiment of Bucky feeling out of place in this movie, but it wasn't egregious enough to take me out of the movie. Good effort by Marvel who has been hit or miss since Endgame with this one.

Very interested to see how Sentry evolves going into Doomsday and Secret Wars.

I thought the movie was pretty good, Yelena and the Sentry/Void were outstanding. Just fantastically depicted. I was so impressed.

There is a groundwork for Sentry rarely showing up in future movies. I imagine we'll see him again but if you bring him out, you risk the Void, so they may just bench him for a while.

Hasn't Marvel been toying with a World War Hulk? Sentry's best episode ever was against Hulk in that story (spoiler: he fights Hulk to a standstill until they both revert to their human forms and Banner kills Bob, which prevents the Void.), though he's had an epic fight with Thor as well (Sentry begs Thor to kill him).

I did have a beef with the Sentry suit, it looked like a cheap Halloween knockoff, but that makes sense since it was a PR stunt orchestrated by Valentina.

Mostly this sets a great, movie-friendly precedence for Sentry. When deployed, he's (likely) stronger than anyone we've seen so far, but then his Void is truly unbeatable unless you can soothe Bob inside the Void, at which point he forgets everything, undoes the Void's damage and reverts to Bob. Really only Wanda has a chance against him, but Bob wants to be benched, so we will probably not even see him for a few movies.

You can only beat Sentry/Void psychologically, which is a Doom special.

I am glad I was right about Thunderbolts... I will be seeing it here in the next week or so.

Just got back from Thunderbolts. I will give it a solid 7 out of 10 but it seemed like they jumped a little bit in the character development.

It goes from Bob to Sentry in the speed of light. Thought they could have spent a little more time giving him some motivation to get there.

Forgot to ask... did anyone stick around for the final scene after the credits were all done?

It is definitely a spoiler but I believe most were guessing it was going to happen.

I think most people figured that the Fantastic 4 would be Universe jumping as they showed their rocket approaching Earth.

With all the delays and changes lately, it's been kinda hard to keep track of where the MCU is even headed. Hopefully this thread helps us piece things together and talk through the bigger picture stuff.

I legit want good individual movies that build up. Thunderbolts hopefully is a step in the right direction. So ready for F4 and then Doomsday.

Yeah I think anyone that is into the MCU knew something like this is coming especially from the trailer vibes
