Great point on the franchise WR vs. RB Chiefs have been in search of a franchise RB since Okoye left, and conceivably, it could be said that there have been few, if any, true franchise RB's in our system (Abner Haynes, Mike Garrett, Joe D., Christian Okoye were not HOF types, IMO). In addition, sadly, the Chiefs only true franchise WR since Otis Taylor has been Carlos Carson, unless you can count Gonzo in that group and certainly he is our best weapon. Point is, we've lacked both for a long time. |
