I've heard a few stories similar to this now. Apparently some stores are asking for ID on items with alcohol constituents. Chances are those items have methanol, isopropyl alcohol, or t-butyl alcohol in them. They're trying to keep idiot kids from buying them thinking they're booze and poisoning themselves.
Some drugs stores are putting common cold and allergy meds behind locked displays to keep addicts from using them to make meth. No kidding. I guess if you're over age and an idiot, you could still poison yourself though. |

Probably hitting on you also, welcome a stalker into your life, now has your name and address. Then again those are a volatile mix for known terrorists.
