View Poll Results: How much fun would it be to play football in the NFL?
Tons o' fun. The players are bigger and faster, but it's still the game I live. | 6 | 31.58%
Fun, but it's not really a game any more at that level. It's fun work. | 5 | 26.32%
Not so fun, to be honest. It's hard work and it hurts, but it would still beat most jobs. | 3 | 15.79%
Not fun at all. There are a lot of crazy players out there, and they really, really want to hurt people. Plus, the studying and playbooks are so complex that it just wouldn't be fun. | 2 | 10.53%
Why are you teasing me like this? You know that I can never actually be an NFL player. | 2 | 10.53%
Stop killing my dreams. | 1 | 5.26%

Playing the games would be fantastic...but you would also be spending a lot of time of your life being unhappy.

It's hard for me to say that it wouldn't be fun, but at the same time the practices and the playbook studying are definitely work, and in the games it would be sobering to have some of those guys trying to break your neck and rip off your genitals at the bottom of the pile. There are some big, mean, criminal players out there.
I'd still do it, though.

I'd rather have LJ's plan and just sign a nice contract, only to sit on the b3nch while the dough rolls in.

But everyone practices, regardless of salary. Larry's the one with the contract riding the pine on Sunday.

I didn't intend for my first post to get taken seriously. It's late where I live and I'm just trying to amuse myself.
