Do you read Blogs?
Blogs have been really taking off. It seems as though they really pushed through during this last election. It is interesting because there is so much information from people that are experts in their fields or have varied intrests or are just interesting people.

There is also a push for the idea the blogs will be the future of local journalism. A set of blogs linked together with a loose affiliation with a newspaper...

What do you folks think of all of this?

Ive read a few..I think its more of a passing fad than anything. Its sort of like an on-line diary??

I find blogs to be a waste of time. I'd much rather visit a good message board, which are a much more enjoyable waste of time.

There are a few blogs that are worth reading. But most of them are nothing but regurgitated spin on stuff that I already know.

Raush turned me onto a blog that I find humorous though...

It can be...but there are so many different ways they are presented that you cant really corner it like that.

Alot of people who are experts in their industry esp IT industries have them. They post articles about the latest that is going on and generally other users comment on them and add to discussions. Some of their own blogs so it makes a small community...or sometimes a large one...

Some are used as online diaries or journals...

Some are based on photos...some use political commentery or try to move along a political agenda...some try to be funny...there are really a million different ways you can take it.
