Let's help out Whitlock...

Let's help out Whitlock...

Did anybody else hear JW taking it to Gretz and the Chiefs yesterday? It was some of the best radio I have heard in a while.

He is putting together something for march 2nd. He is calling for everyone to get together and get after the pimple dicks at 1 Arrowhead Drive and I think we here at the forum should lend a hand. He wants for the Chiefs fans to be heard by the Chiefs and who better than to scream horrible things at someone than us?

He is organizing this thing from 2-6 on March 2nd and I think we should turn this into a forum outing.

Who's in?

Lets kick some ass or if not kick your ass

Peterson hasn't made too many good decisions but love him or hate him his decision to hire Marty was a good one...While Marty is too conservative to probably ever be able to win Super Bowl rings he does bring a style that allows for a very competitive breed of football and that was sorely needed at the time he was hired. That decision really rallied a desparate fan base and for that Peterson deserves credit. Since then, the collection of major decisions he has made wouldn't have turned out much worse had we let a 6 year old make them.

I'm sure there were many Patriot fans that were certain that Bill Belichick was horrible head coaching choice back in 2000 and head to look no further than his 5-11 final season with Cleveland to believe it...The fact he followed it up by taking a Pete Carroll team that went 10-6, 9-7 and 8-8 only to post another 5-11 season probably confirmed with zero doubt that were correct and right but as those fans sit here today the only thing they care about is winning their 3rd Super Bowl ring in 4 years. Damn few fans care about whether they "knew" Belichick was a good or bad choice as a coach back in 2000 and only care about the success or failure of their team next weekend in the Super Bowl. Only reason you feel like people only care about how much they "know" about football is because failure is the only thing this franchise has had for a very long time. If Carl Peterson and his pathetic front office could actually mix in success during their decade and a half on the job you would be amazed how little people cared about being right or wrong.
I dont have to be presumptuous, Ive read your posts for years....replete with numerous predictions and how you knew better. I'll never forget the time you mentioned something about going out and actually making the team as WR.

But you are right, when the team is winning, no one cares...this IS the beauty of taking the position that every decision/trade/draft pick is the wrong one. If KC were staring at the SB right now, a good few would actually care about who predicted what and when and who was right or wrong or nosensical malarky that passed as football acumen before that one game. Should KC fail any step along the way, the earlier 'predictions' are self fulfilling...

As Ive said before, it's a good bet given this teams history which actually predates Peterson.

Hence the reason why most people want a drastic change in management. Just because the management before Peterson was shitty everyone should some how accept it from him or conclude that the team is pre-destined to always have shitty management and should just wake up and accept it? What kind of pathetic defeatist loser attitude is that?

It's the same attitude the Chiefs have. Ho hum, our draft picks suck, so we're forced to suffer through crappy seasons....there's nothing else we can do but accept it. Because after all, free agency doesn't work.
That would just be a waste of Lamar's hard-earned money.

Ok, I'll go find it...I found it amusing back then, so we can all relive it.

Did you not just read from my post on this very thread, that I said I welcomed a change in management? Good Lord, Nap...you're smarter than this. Read what I say, not what you think Im saying.

Simply wonderful. Im not sure how else I can say what Ive said to you a couple of other times, but let me restate for your benefit...Im apathetic.

While I appreciate your assumption of my attitude, you couldnt be more wrong, but that's not something unique for you.

I saw that part but it was kinda over shadowed by your non-stop babble and "amazement" that fans would complain about a poorly performing front office.

Fans of bad teams complaining...Stunning....Next someone is going to tell me wives nag or people having different political views....

Unless you're a member of Chiefs management, I wasn't talking about your attitude, but now that you mention it, "apathetic" is a word I would use to describe Lamar Hunt's attitude as well.

His free agent decisions, at the end of the Marty era, to get them over the hump were the worst. IMO Dan Williams was the worst thing that ever happened to the Chiefs. However, I remember when I heard that he had signed PH that I was ecstactic. I think his decision to bring in DV was perfect due to the fact that the Chiefs were at the laughing stock of the NFL stage. DV bringing in profile players has restored respect to the franchise, even though they have not yet accomplished what a lot of fans think is the only sign of success, a Super Bowl Victory.

A pun. A joke. To make fun of a persons intellect. It's a real word. Look it up in the Jeff Foxworthy dictionary.
