For the record, I have listend to their music ... a lot of it. Had Violator, Hotter than Hell and Dressed to Kill on vinyl, and drove to school for two years with a guy who played nothing but Kiss, so I heard it every day for at least an hour for two years.

Ask anyone who's played music about Kiss' chord structure and diversity of sound, and they'll actually agree with both me and Cosmic -- there just isn't a lot there.

And to say that Kiss had nothing to do with the hair band phase is being disingenuous.

Don't get me wrong -- I don't think you're an idiot for listening to them or anything, and I've met plenty of people who think they're the shit.

I'm just not one of them.

You're right.... I should never be allowed to express my opinion or refute anyone else's stance on something. That's only for other people to do. I'm just suppossed to take it all with a grain of salt and let it go no matter what.... otherwise I'm the asshole.

You're the one that admitted to trying to get to me....then when I dare say my 2 cents worth, I need to get a grip. I even went out of my way to be "politically correct' in my language in many spots so as not to come off too harsh. I don't know why I bothered. As usual it's the "call someone out with a comment against something you know they like, then attack them for being defensive about it."

Like I said, I honestly couldn't care less who you like musically. It doesn't change my life. Just thought I'd try to point out a couple of things that were glaringly wrong with your comments... aside from opinion.
