Off to Denver...

Flying out today... Mojo socks in tow, along with my Old School Elway jersey and orange hat. No pants for luck... Ok, I'm wearing pants.

Looks like were going to get some pretty fair weather:

Mainly sunny. High 41F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.

Nice!

Here's to a great weekend, and my perfect record at home.

Go Broncos!

Faceless? I'm meeting at least 35 Omaners at our tailgate tomoorow... possilby more... It would have been cool to hook up with Rainman, but he's heading out of town. I've had drinks with Joe Seahawk before... and DanKC... I'd have drinks with you too... Hell, I get messages all the time from people on this board who say they'd like to hook up sometime for a beer. This is all fun for me. I don't harbor the resentment that you do. Life is too short to hate people over football smack.

You're full of shit. Nothing about my original post is belligerent, obnoxious, or assholish... I didn't start that until it got started on me.

Plus, I don't much give a shit what you say anyway. Why should I be different than anyone else here...

(Damn, with zingers like that, how can I keep them to myself? I'm just throwing back at you what you're throwing at me.)

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

for what it's worth... I'd LOVE to hear about any Chiefs fan who I've gotten to know here and their experience at an AFC Championship game. If you've got any stories, please, share them.

The Seniorita isn't making the trip. She's not that interested in cheering in a cold environment... Once October passes, she's pretty much not into going to games...

But because it's my Birthday this month (The Taco John Lounge... come on, say it), she let me get away... Though, she lets me get away when I want. We're good with eachother like that.

I hope everyone has their AK-Fortyshitters set on full auto tomorrow in this thread. It's going to be hilarious if Denver loses.

Perhaps. Win or lose, I feel good about our season. My stated goal since April is one playoff win to build from. We've gotten that. Next year I expect a Superbowl. If we win one this year, it'll be a treat, but it's not an expectation from my end.

I attended the 1994 game.....I know, I know....twas so long ago, I'm sure you will remind us.

My most pleasant memory in Buffalo? A Bronco fan was pushed off of the top of Rich Stadium for being obnoxious and stupid....sadly though, he survived.

I'm not doing much tommorow.

If you'd like I can give her a call while yer' at the game and check up on her.

What!?!

The colder the weather, the hotter the fans get. Nothing more fun than having your feet go numb while watching the Chiefs beat the Broncos in December.
