Anything over 500 hp on street tires and you really don't see a huge improvement, unless you are going down the track but you still have to hook up.

I have a friend with a supercharged viper and he can barely keep it on the streets, squirely as hell. (around 700 hp)

I would rather stay at 500hp and spend money on suspension and tires.

He needs some Nitto's or more like BFG DR's or MT Streets. You're right. He needs to tighten up that suspension and get some Drag Radials.
