Roy got outcoached against MSU, and USC is obviously better than people gave them credit for.

Regardless of who anyone played though, Kansas was the team that really took care of business in both games... and surprisingly, now that I look at the bracket, USC & SIU are the only two that stick out as doing the same.

I watched the 2nd half of Florida/Purdue and it wasn't so much of Florida flipping a switch; Purdue went cold, due to Florida's defense for a large part, and Florida got hot. Purdue also seemed to panic when they tied the game up again after losing the lead. I think if Purdue was a little more experienced Florida would have been knocked off today. But all credit to Florida, they responded like champs.

No I know Tubby Smith Basketball

He doesn't like to recruit and has never built a program from the ground up. Read Robinson's comments about Tubby's recruiting pitch.

It was a pretty boring game all-around. Purdue's defense really stifled us in the first half. We responded better in the 2nd, but never really got going until the very end. Purdue is a smaller half-court team that we didn't really match-up well with. We shouldn't have to face another team like them and we match up better with everyone else in our bracket (Butler, Oregon, UNLV). We really played flat all game, but advanced - and that's all that matters.

I saw that. RussRob had four coaches come to his school the same day. Self won the battle and Tubby got 4th place.

i think it would be great for Smith to go to Colorado

i want the Big 12 to get better all over ... especially in the North.

get Tubby a couple of better recruiters for him and Colorado would be much improved.

Tubby would improve them by walking in the door.

Tubby was once one of the best recruiters in the country. I think he fell into the trap of "we are Kentucky; you should be begging us to come here, if we aren't your first choice then we dont' want you." I think he would be great at Colorado. It would force him to get back into recruiting again.

Someone on tv a while back called it a rollover year, or something like that... meaning there are a lot of teams that have lots of Seniors/Juniors and/or have younger talent with tournament experience. That seemed really clear to me this weekend, as almost all the top seeds knew how to respond in the close games, while a team like Texas struggled.

On that note, I'm glad Kansas doesn't have to deal with him again this year, but I really hope Durant comes back, for the sake of college basketball.

I've never liked the Big 10 or the Big East, and even though I like the ACC, I'm surprised they got so many in.... I mean, when Virginia almost wins your conference and then turns around and loses to Wake Forest in their final game and NC State in the first round of the conference tournament...

I hate to say it but Kansas is going to destroy anyone in their path if they keep playing like this and BRush is jacking three balls. I mean that was total domination of a tough team today...they played the toughest schedule in the nation I think.

I'm going to go throw up now.
