Allegedly, at some point this year (and I'll believe it when I see it) DTV is going to dramatically up the number of HD channels they broadcast - or in other words, the rotten thieving one who sucks the peniss will finally justify the added expense of HD channels that I've been paying for a year and a half already (I get SEVEN whole channels currently - woohoo ). Of course, they won't say when, just "later this year."

Bastards. At least I'm finally not having issues with my local channels in HD.

And after that Sopranos fiasco, I'm done with HBO, in HD or otherwise. That'll lower the monthly bill a bit.

I am very interested to see how that turns out. I will have the chance to switch back to D* later this year when I move. I currently have Dish HD and LOVE the large HD channel lineup. As of right now, D* has the worst HD lineup.
