I'm in the very small minority who actually thinks Fargo is overrated. It's good, for sure. I like it. But I think a lot of the praise is over the top. There are Coen films I like better (Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Big Lebowski).

I'd agree 100 percent. Of the Coen Bros. films, Fargo, Intolerable Cruelty, and The Ladykillers are at the bottom (not in that order).

With my personal favs being Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Big Lebowski, Hudsucker Proxy and O Brother Where Art Thou?

But after perusing their filmography, there's not a single film they've done that I thought wasn't at least good or better than average.
