Adam Teicher vs. Erroneous Nick

WPI:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=179056

Quote:
Warpaint Illustrated has confirmed that the Kansas City Chiefs have filled the majority of the assistant offensive coaching positions. Here’s the rundown on the new staff.

WIDE RECEIVERS – Karl Dorrell

After five seasons as head coach at UCLA, Dorrell was fired in December. He has previous NFL experience as a wide receivers coach from three years in Denver, where he helped Rod Smith and Ed McCaffery develop into one of the best receiving tandems in the league. The pair combined for 201 receptions in 2000. Dorrell is also credited with helping Charles Johnson and Michael Westbrook flourish at Colorado in the early 90s.

QUARTERBACKS – ???

At the moment Dick Curl remains Kansas City’s quarterbacks coach, but we’ve learned that it’s a possibility Eric Price could end up taking over the position if he chooses to leave his current job as offensive coordinator at the University of Texas-El Paso. Price briefly coached Brodie Croyle at Alabama and has history with Herm Edwards, as he served as an offensive assistant with the New York Jets in 2001 and 2002, where he was instrumental in preparing quarterback Chad Pennington to play. Price also coached quarterbacks at Washington State from 1998-2000.
Adam Teicher:

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/story/454755.html

Quote:
Price may end up as receivers coach for Chiefs
MOBILE, Ala. | Eric Price recently interviewed to become the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator but could join their coaching staff in a different capacity.

Price, the offensive coordinator at Texas-El Paso, might be joining the Chiefs as their wide receivers coach. The Chiefs’ first choice to become receivers coach, former UCLA coach Karl Dorrell, took a job with the Miami Dolphins.

Chiefs coach Herm Edwards hired Chan Gailey instead of Price as offensive coordinator. But Edwards thinks highly of Price, who once coached for him when Edwards was with the New York Jets.

The Chiefs recently hired Colorado State offensive coordinator Curtis Modkins as running backs coach and Bob Bicknell as offensive line coach. Modkins was running backs coach for Gailey at Georgia Tech. Bicknell was the Chiefs’ assistant offensive line coach last season.
WHO TO BELIEVE?!?

Perhaps I'm misjudging GoChiefs' role. I thought all of the writers were attempting to be journalists, and that he wasn't just a tape recorder for what Nick says. If Whitlock calls up Teicher and tells him that LJ just got arrested, my guess is that Teicher would make a call or two before writing something, though I'm sure he trusts JWhit just fine.

I wouldn't categorize WPI as "journalism", Mr. DeezNutz. I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't call it that.

It's kind of like a funny club where you pay dues to hear somebody tell you super secret stuff. Like the Shriners without the handshake and the wacky little hats.

No, Nick just couldn't write it. He got confirmation that the coaches were hired while he was out in Alabama without access to the internet, so someone had to put SOMETHING up. That person is me.

I'll go slash my wrists now.

I'm pretty sure that all of those other sources are quoting WPI. I Google newsed it and it found several sources, but they seemed to use WPI as their source. Someone should say that we hired EyePod as the new WR coach! I'm up for the challenge. I'll just put away my Fundamentals of Momentum, Heat, and Mass Transfer book and start coaching really athletic kids about how to jump and catch and run fast!! It can't be harder than Chemical Engineering!!!

I seriously don't see anything that confirms that Dorrell signed with the Dolphins

Or that guy we hired for OC, what's his name? Chang Bailey or something.

I was wondering more of who the actual person will be to coach qb's. Not if Curl stays in another role or not.

If Dorrell is going to Miami it sounds like it will still be Curl.
