Why can't folks in California understand the ramifications of letting people and businesses decide such a matter for themselves? Why can't they understand the ramifications of letting the market decide? Oh, right...that's a very foreign concept in California. Here it is in a nutshell: If there are people opposed, they won't go a bar/restaurant that allows smoking. If they aren't, they will. If the bar is suffering because it does or doesn't allow smoking, it will adapt or go under. Simple. Too simple for some, apparently. ![]()
