I'm not upset. I'm merely pointing out that you get what you pay for.

Everyone is using the Packers as an example of how to rebuild and look what they did, signed veteran corner, Charles Woodson. Hmmm-that really was a screw up, now wasn't it?

According to a Seattle board, the Seahawks offered Brown a deal that would have made him the highest paid kicker in the league, and he wanted more money than what they were offering. The team didn't want to let him go, but thinks they did everything possible to keep him. His demands just weren't reasonable.

If that's the case, I hope we don't sign him. You don't build championship teams by having far and away the most expensive kicker in the league, and the highest paid center as two of your building blocks.

Where did you see this confirmed? And how much money did he sign for? If he is far and away the highest paid kicker in the league, then I am glad the Chiefs missed out on him. That is not a way to throw money around when you have holes like the Chiefs do.
