Well Jayhawk fans, we got no MU, No KSU and had a hard time with an inspired NU team. This tourney has had it's strange twist so far, Hey, CU beat Baylor.

So here we are Rd # 2, aTm vs KU , Sat.. What time is the game ? I'm thinking 3 PM or 3:30 PM, anybody know ?

Mark Turgeon, back in the KC area against KU. Sorry Mark, we love ya but it's time to go down again. I look for aTm to keep it closer this time.

Sweet, I think it's a fairly clear picture now...

UNC to Charlotte
UCLA to Phoenix
Memphis to Houston
Kansas or Texas to Detroit

2 seeds
Tennessee to Detroit
Texas or Kansas to Houston
Georgetown to Charlotte
Duke to Phoenix

If Kansas wins, I wonder if they'll put Texas in Houston with a #1 Memphis... and I wonder if the committee would actually ship Duke all the way out to Phoenix, but they won't put them in Charlotte with UNC... maybe they'll send Tennessee instead.

actually, Duke should probably be a #3 with Wisconsin gettiing the #2....i think either UT or Wisc goes west....Tenn gets the #2 in the midwest behind KU because they are the best #2 and we are the fourth #1...

I was thinking that, too.... I was thinking the committee would rather put Duke in one of the midwest cities as a 3 than put them in the west as a 2.

This is what I think will happen as Duke was ranked 7th and they lost... so seems like they deserve a 3. Makes sense to me.

The Georgia coach was whining about having to play two games in one day... WTF do you want the SEC to do, tell the NCAA to delay everything by a day and have Selection Monday?

I think he should have played the race card. There's no way in hell a conference would do something like that to Duke. They would have just given Duke the championship and been done with it.

The order in which they showed it on Sportcenter makes me believe he said it between games.... which makes it just as bad, IMO, to give your team an excuse before you even play the second game.

I'm surprised at ESPN's lack of spin... they've been talking about how the AAU leagues play 2 or 3 tournament games in a day, so it's not a big deal. It's how they should react, because it's probably not a big deal to the players, but I remember when they made a huge deal about how the Tennessee football team had to fly on gameday once, even though every other division does it... by bus. They've gone out of their way to not make the news this time.
