2009 Mock Draft
I thought this was odd...
"The draft order in this mock draft was determined by calculated judgment on how I believe the teams will fair this season. All of the prospects in this mock draft are eligible for the 2009 draft, but just because they’re eligible, that doesn’t mean they will declare. With that said, congratulations to the Dallas Cowboys for winning Super Bowl XLIII and to the Kansas City Chiefs for finishing with the worst record, as they continue to rebuild their football team. The Chiefs are now on the clock…" http://profootballexperts.scout.com/2/752283.html |

I think Croyle would be the first to go, especially if Tebow and Stafford declare for the draft.

Tebow was what a sophomore last year? heck he has plenty of time to fine tune his passing skills before heading to the NFL.

I really don't see how anyone can judge Croyle playing behind not only a bad line, but one of the worse that has ever seen the field in the NFL. Throw on top of that LJ being out and I'm willing to see what he does this year before passing judgement. The thing that does trouble me is the Detroit game where huard came in and lit it up after croyle got hurt, but hey if brodie struggles again this year QB will be a huge target come next years draft.

Elway had some success with crap teams around him. Shit, let's be real. A couple of those Super Bowl teams had absolutely no business being there...and they wouldn't have been if it weren't for him.

Or PAM - the non-stick spray that makes everything from stovetop cooking, baking, grilling, and rushing the passer - just plain easier.

If it weren't for John Elway and Dan Reeves, the Broncos would have never seen the Super Bowl in the 80's. It's surprising to me to see people even TRY to compare Elway's early struggles with Croyle's. Actually, it's ridiculous. Elway was a Phenom, a prodigy. Croyle is...??? Not. |

I'm not debating that, but when he was finally in the right situation when he had weapons around him and a RB he won the SB twice.

Its true! 'Herm' is only 4 letters, whereas the other option is 44 letters... why waste the time to make a point?

I still don't understand how Reeves contribution to the NFL is so often overlooked. He took the Broncos three times to the Super Bowl, the Falcons to the Super Bowl and the Giants to the playoffs (a very poor, untalented Giants team). Definitely worthy of the Hall of Fame. |

Matt Stafford is a good QB as well. I want him to fail miserably and lose nearly every game, but that doesn't cloud my judgment of him as a player.
