When Ledger changes the way people act in his profession, and then it becomes so blatant a Ledger ripoff they flat out call it that, you have a point.

I'm no fan of Ledger. He was good. No argument. But I wouldn't say great.

Clearly you feel the same about Cobain/Nirvana. Fair enough.

But weigh, in your head, who had the greater influence in their craft. Will people immitate Ledger in 10 years (outside of offing themselves on accident?)

Will Ledger be hailed as ending and ushering in a new era?

I'm no huge Nirvana fanboy but I can still see how their popularity completely revamped alternative and popular music...

BTW, I hope Batman does live up to the hype.

Sure, deep down, I'm a Marvel guy. Marvel/DC is like Chiefs/Raiders, but it's also the love of the game.

In the end it's still a Comix flick and I still hope it's good.

Actually, what I love about this movie is that it's supposed to resemble a crime drama, and not even have you thinking its a comic flick. But I see what you're saying.

I wasn't talking about all that, really.

Wasn't comparing the two, or the influence they had on their chosen craft.

My only point was that I loved their work... and when they were gone, it came as a bit of a shock.

I wanted more. From both.

But maybe his performance in The Dark Knight will change your mind. By all accounts, it's amazing.

I've been a fan of his since "10 Things I Hate About You". (Please don't sign me up for Teen Beat Magazine, or anything like that.) It was a lot like John Cusack in "Say Anything" (Also, a hot chick got drunk and danced on a pool table to Biggy Smalls: Hypnotized)

The guy's a hell of an actor, and he has range.
