Side note: Hackett's stint in KC was the hottest 5 years in Chiefs history. Your average record was 11-5. You only missed the playoffs in 1 of those 5 seasons. One of the best records in sports during the Hackett years.

Hackett is and always will be remembered for being an awful play caller and an ignoramus with clock management. (see final 2 minutes of 1997 playoff game Chiefs vs Broncos for dumbassery). how you can defend him coming to the Raiders is beyond me. If he was coming to my team I would be afraid, very afraid.

Heck... I don't know enough about him to defend him. Don't even know how much influence on playcalling he would have as a "consultant." I just looked up his record in KC to see how you guyz did when he was OC. Chiefs were one hot team when he was there it seems.

I think Al Davis is slowly losing his mind. that's what I think if I look at his record in the past. |

With KC n' NY, he went to the playoffs in 7 of his 9 seasons. He sure seems to have a good record for such a fuggin fuggup. |

Oh yeah sure.... once again some bored writer barfs up some inane speculation about what Al Davis maybe might possibly could sorta kinda do. Hey - run with it! Its fun!

Hackett's "ability" didn't have dick to do with our record then. Those were the years when the Chiefs were all-world on defense. That's where the wins came from.

Looks like the AFC West will look like this:
1. Chargers 2. Broncos 3. Chiefs 5. Raiders |
