The "Official" Cardinals Discussion Thread.

Figured that if we had one thread to discuss Cardinals "stuff" it would be easier to find. What do you think? Good idea?

Didn't say anything about that. I just stated that so far, over the past season and a half, the Brewers have been a better team.

Well, now that the Cubs are imploding, I guess we are short of shit-talking fans of never-done-a-damn-thing-ever teams, so The Rick is certainly filling a void.

No reason to get your panties in a wad...just a little friendly rivalry during an important series.

Regarding the Cubs...at least the Brewers have actually seen what a World Series looks like in the past century!

Gotcha...I just feel that until another team from this division wins it all, the Cards hold the bragging rights. Been a pretty long drought for pretty much everyone besides the Cards. Get it done this year and major props coming your way

Thanks, and again, I'm not trying to be a jerk or a troll...just a little friendly rivalry. Especially, now that I feel like we have a team capable of actually doing something.

FTR, if it can't be us, if we don't win the division, I hope it is the Brewers. I do sort of have a soft spot for Milwaukee after all the time I've spent up there over the years. Basically anybody but Chicago or Houston works for me - I pretty much hate them equally.

Yeah, I don't mind the Cardinals so much...if it can't be us. Anyone is better than the Cubs.

I guess you're close enough to Chicago to be sick of them as well.

Yeah, Cubs fans really get ripped on good when they're in town. There's a lot of tension, fights, etc.

I was at a game last year when a couple of young punk Cubs fans were sitting in the front row of a section full of beer-drinking Brewers fans. That wouldn't have been so bad, but they were turning around being really mouthy. Fielder hit a homer in the 8th to give the Brewers the lead and our section went nuts. One guy knocked the Cubs hat off the head of one of the punks down to the field.

It was so bad that after the game, when the Brewers won, no one in our section would leave. Our whole section was really razzing the two punks who were afraid to get up and walk past the people in the section. Security finally had to come and escort them out!

Typical Cub fan pussies.

He hadn't pitched in a year and a half. You are going to have control problems.
