I like Herm and I'm not afraid to say it
yes that's right! I like the youth movement and think Herm has drafted well. Hard to see it yet but I think he has. My knocks on Herm is this, he could have done better with the O-line and finding a second WR to line up with Bowe. This season will probably be painful but I think he's on track to build a winner.

I would give him two more years.

He's a fugging funny interview and energetic as hell ta boot.

I don't hate the guy, actually like hime better than DV for sure. I just think he had the deck stacked against him when he got here, with not being able to pick his own coordinators, Carl still having too much control over personnel decisions, not to mention a total lack of talented football players. He seems like a good motivator, and judge of talent. I say give him a couple more years.... As for Carl, his ass can go! too bad they're probably attached at the hip though.

I don't believe that for a second. Lots of coaches pull that crap.

He also says he has a cell phone that he doesn't answer, and he doesn't know his own number. (He said that when asked about interest in Favre.)

I like Herm. I like the guy a lot.

I'm not sure I like him as a football coach... but I'm not ready to run him out of town yet either.

Im not here to bash Herm too hard. Im not his biggest fan, but he obviously needs a little more time and tools.

Yeah, it's weird.

I tend to agree that "he just doesnt have enough gameday sense to ever get a team to a Super Bowl". (Yet, I wouldn't completely rule it out.)

But I do honestly believe that he has the ability to build a Super Bowl quality roster. (Or at least a roster that could win a couple of playoff games.)

If that makes sense.
