Whatever the default setting is. I'm fairly good at Madden on the Nintendo classic controllers. I may actually have thumped SD 48-0, but not when I can barely manipulate the numchuck thingy.

I don't like it on WII. It seems like you just wave nunchuck around and it picks your open receiver for you

I hadn't bought madden for four or five years now, but since I just got a PS3 I was thinking of getting it in a few weeks/months. Guess my "drinking buddy" read my mind, last night I decided to try cooking her a dinner and she was doing some house cleaning, she sat a piece of paper on the table behind me, asking me to look at it and help her understand it.
When I picked it up, Madden was on the table underneath. WARPATH, GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE, bring a sixer and lets play this shizznet |

I moved mine from pro to all pro and was still wiping things up. I jumped it all the way up to all madden but haven't played in that mode yet. I am also going to tinker with the AI settings and see if I can't make the computer a little tougher to play against. I thought I heard you can turn the "All Play" off but I haven't found it yet. I don't like losing but at the same time after a while it gets pretty boring holding the opponent to 3 and outs while I go 80 yards in 1-2 plays for a TD. As for the passing, after a lot of reading on the net, it seems the wii selects the "Most Open" WR for you. Now, I was able to do some selecting with the directional buttons on the wii remote but they didn't seem consistent and seemed more to throw to certain areas of the field instead of WRs. On the old version I rented, a button corresponded with a reciever before the snap and wherever that wr went, you could hit that button and throw. Now if the wr I want runs a down an in pattern, he starts off with the left button, but then when he starts across the field the buttons change. Overall, I like the game on the wii, I just wish it were a bit more challenging and better reciever selection.

I only got to play around with it a little bit last night. I ran through the Madden IQ test and all I can say is....that I suck at pass defense. Good God I was horrible. lol So I guess according to them I'm an All-Pro on everything except pass defense.
If I was EA I would have done the Madden IQ thing a little different. Just break it down to Offense and Defense. On Offense you start off at the opponents 40 yard line and you have to score a TD to move to the next level. Each level they just move you back 20 yards. If you can't score on that difficulty...then that's the difficulty you're on. Defense is the same thing except you have to hold them from scoring. From what I saw (graphics wise) playing one of the Madden Moments (GB vs. Den) the game looks pretty good. It's a little choppy in areas and the animations are alright. The gameplay so far is just at an ok. I couldn't get into the game that much and I because of only playing the Madden Moment...I didn't get to play defense. I'm going to start up a Chiefs franchise this weekend. |

But i'm not shocked they don't have the 2nd kicker and the undrafted rookie FB in the game.

Yeah, but from what I've found so far, that only makes 1 guy a for sure option. I haven't found a way to use it without setting it up every play too, which gets old.
