I'm really bad at constructing hypothetical trades. I am decent, however, at the waiver wire. I'd target Royal, obviously. Which Rbs are available? Like Tim Hightower or Sammy Morris.

This is a deep 14 team league. The waiver wire is very thin.
The best possible RB FA is Kevin Jones. |

Since you mentioned the possibility of trading Big Ben, Hardballs is probably the worst off at QB. Grant looks like he might have ongoing hamstring issues (making Brandon Jackson a buy low target). Personally, I'd wait a week or two to see if another QB goes down. IMO, you've got two top 14 QBs, which are valuable commodities.
How many players do you start? Hightower was an excellent pickup, btw. Seriously, let me know who's out there on the waiver wire. |

We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1K, 1D
I will post waiver wire guys when I get off work. We don't have an add/drop. We have 5 pickups for the whole year. |

Here is a name that is being overlooked in alot of leagues: Steve Slaton.

If you're dead set on getting RB help, I'd go after Forte or Grant (in that order). Garcia's injured and/or about to be benched and Hasselbeck has a bulging disc in his back. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3576807 Last edited by Skyy God; 09-10-2008 at 12:58 PM.. |

I was just offered Ray Rice and Slaton for Schaub and Benjamin Watson.
Thoughts? |

I apologize. The trade offered was Schaub for Ray Rice straight up.
However, HARDBALLS has listed Matt Forte on the trading block. So, is there anyway I could get Forte from him by offering Schaub and ____? Or should I do the Schaub for Ray Rice deal? |

Okay, how quickly time goes. HARDBALLS already did a trade.
He recieved Warner and MJD for Forte, Ladell Betts and Kris Brown. Man, apparently I am too slow. |

No, I'd hold out for a better offer.

Ramswin needs a WR badly. He just traded for Holt. I was thinking of and Holmes/McGahee for Forte/Holt. However, that would give me Young and Forte who share the same bye weeks.
See anything else? |

In summary, I think that's a awful trade, especially since you only start 2 WRs. |

Did Ramswin just trade Braylon? If so, that's someone I'm targeting. Even though he was terrible last week, he still got a ton of looks.
