I think Huard is fed up with Herm and the offensive coaching staff

BigRedChief's reports have never been wrong before, so I agree that maybe Huard did just up and quit this last Sunday and because of that, is truly in Herm's doghouse. Huard's last throw was that interception, which bounced off Devard Darling. Huard looked disgusted after Darling ****ed that play up.

Of course, the situation - third and long - was created because Herm's wonderful offensive coaching staff dialed up a run up the middle on first down and a pussy middle screen call on 2nd and 7.

Throw in the fact that they were sending Hagans in and out of the game - I'm sure Huard was disgusted with that, too - and it's not hard to see why Huard has had enough.

If you remember, last year Huard was pissed off at the offensive coaching staff, too. I believe it's been publicized that he's not a big fan of Dick Curl. He was much more comfortable with Terry Shea.

Basically last year Huard put up with a terrible offensive coaching staff that had no clue, and got beat the hell up all year long, for basically nothing. Now it's happening again, and he isn't about to put his body on the line for another shit team that has no clue what they're doing on offense if he doesn't have to.

And so he ends up in Herm's doghouse. But can you really blame Huard?

That's my theory anyway. We'll see if Huard gives a shit if he gets back onto the field the rest of the season.

EDIT - Oh, and one other thing. Larry Johnson is the other guy who raised a fuss last year. He's already started this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see it escalate. Will he end up in the doghouse?

Don't tell me the DL didn't quit a bit by giving up 300 yards on the ground to Oakland at home.

Doesn't Herm have some kind of box thing for guys like Downfield?

Harry Houdini had a very cool box that he would climb into and they would wrap it up with huge log chains and massive, steel padlocks and then they would melt the key with an acetylene torch and throw his ass off a bridge into a frozen river. That, I think, would make a very nice box for Herm.

I don't blame those players one bit, Mr. BigRedChief. I hope they raise hell and crap in his locker.

Downfield's lost his nerve. You could see it last year. The fact that Herm couldn't or can't see it is the back story here. Sometimes, I think that, while he should be coaching, Herm's mind is somewhere else.

If people are already quitting, Herm needs to go. Period.

Kiffin never got a chance, and I guarantee he'd hate the Raiders. Hell that's worth two wins a year right there.

I had forgotten about Herm's box, or was it a closet?

It might have been. I thought it was a box, though, Mr. Chiefnj2. Like a time-out chair or something. Herm said that when you're bad, you have to go in the box or chair or sock drawer or somewhere until you're better or until he finds somebody to replace you with whichever comes first. To be honest, I can't remember the details.

Wow, now people are throwing Huard under the bus in favor of Herm?

I don't think Huard would just throw his hands up unless there was a good reason.

Huard's not going to rock the boat. But he won't be party to such offensive incompetence.

Please. Stop ascribing principles to explain the reasons why Huard sucks.
