I think Huard is fed up with Herm and the offensive coaching staff

BigRedChief's reports have never been wrong before, so I agree that maybe Huard did just up and quit this last Sunday and because of that, is truly in Herm's doghouse. Huard's last throw was that interception, which bounced off Devard Darling. Huard looked disgusted after Darling ****ed that play up.

Of course, the situation - third and long - was created because Herm's wonderful offensive coaching staff dialed up a run up the middle on first down and a pussy middle screen call on 2nd and 7.

Throw in the fact that they were sending Hagans in and out of the game - I'm sure Huard was disgusted with that, too - and it's not hard to see why Huard has had enough.

If you remember, last year Huard was pissed off at the offensive coaching staff, too. I believe it's been publicized that he's not a big fan of Dick Curl. He was much more comfortable with Terry Shea.

Basically last year Huard put up with a terrible offensive coaching staff that had no clue, and got beat the hell up all year long, for basically nothing. Now it's happening again, and he isn't about to put his body on the line for another shit team that has no clue what they're doing on offense if he doesn't have to.

And so he ends up in Herm's doghouse. But can you really blame Huard?

That's my theory anyway. We'll see if Huard gives a shit if he gets back onto the field the rest of the season.

EDIT - Oh, and one other thing. Larry Johnson is the other guy who raised a fuss last year. He's already started this year and I wouldn't be surprised to see it escalate. Will he end up in the doghouse?

It's out of Huard's character to quit. There is a better explanation than "Huard sucks."

This is not a boat, Mr. GoChiefs. This is more like a raft constructed out of styrofoam peanuts, 8 track tapes, and fig newton wrappers floating down the river of suck, soon to be drawn headlong into the inevitable, spinning vortex of despair, over the cataclysmic waterfall of extreme and pointless tragedy, and onto the horrific, jagged rocks of greenish, oozing penile pus.

But, Herm is our captain, so it's okay.

That's the thing, though. Hermoine has gotten rid of almost all the veterans. And who can blame him? Herm don't like no backtalk.

Besides, their time has passed. It's up to the young guys to quit now.

Guy's with weight are Waters, Gonzalez, since LJ's bitching doesn't count...i can't think of any other vets that are outspoken on this team.

There are many trangressions that can be forgiven in the NFL by fellow players but quitting ain't one of them.
Well if ANYBODY would know what a quitter looks like, it would be Grunhard. He sees one every time he looks in the mirror.

It's fitting that we're going to Atlanta this weekend. That's the sight where Grunhard quit on his team. During the last game of Gunther's diseased reign, it was Grunhard who donned a Falcons cap on the Chiefs sideline and later openly admitted he quit on the team.

Grunhard is another in a long line of immmobile, never-was, couldn't win a big game players the Chiefs have had in their recent history.

Tim Grunhard is a guy who should just appreciate that the fans don't hate for him for being part of a franchise that never won a damn game that mattered.

So Timmy... kindly shut your pie hole.

Herm always just makes the comment that....
"players will always get frusturated when things arent going right, how well they repsond to adversity is the key blah blah blah..."

FACT
Our HC has done nothing to change the way we play offense. We obviously can not be successful doing what we are doing now. The vets on this team know it. The coaching staff isn't doing anything to change it.

Its clear that the offensive system and play calling are crap. I lay it all on Herm. He set the stage when he reamed Solari for having the temerity for throwing on 2nd and long near the end of a half in a pre-season game instead of settling for a field goal. Herm forgot his biggest maxim. "You play to win the game." You can't win if you are only competing on one side of the ball. Herm has what he wants. Herm has the Woody Hayes mentality "of thinking there are only three things that can happen when you pass and two of them are bad." I always thought we had a lot of three and outs under Vermeil and that's why our defense was so crappy. They've improved the defense but made the three and out a staple of our offense. Its only going to get worse. We have a young team that is learning how to lose.
