It's looking more and more like it was a mistake not to make a serious play for Pennington. He'd be looking pretty good right about now.

Or John McCain.

Take your pick.

Nothing says "Chiefs" like a washed up QB.

It doesn't matter who they play the next two weeks. Huard would be preferable to rebuilding the entire team, but if they want to confirm that Thigpen sucks it doesn't really matter.

After the bye week go to Ingle Martin for the rest of the season. If Martin gets hurt then put Croyle back in (assuming he's healthy).

At least start Huard when you play the Chargers, he has a good track-record against them.

Tony Adams, that ambassador to the Chiefs Nation who was on the radio yesterday. I'd pay $100 to see him take the kind of beating that Roethlisberger did yesterday.

Well, IMO, youth is not being served by such shoddy quarterback play. I think that the development of our young players is being stunted by ineptitude. If we had a smart quarterback with some talent, who could manage the game effectively, and could lead the young guys I think the learning curve for the entire team would be better. And the team would experience at least some level of success which builds confidence. We appear to be lacking the kind of stability that is necessary to breed success and I think Pennington would have brought a degree of that.
