I tip my barber because she's a friend of the family and she does a way better job then any of those haircut chain places.

I never said I don't tip or tip my barber. In fact I do tip my barber for a good haircut. I was commenting on dog groomers. Although some of the haircuts prior to this barber might be considered the same as dog groomers.

I've never understood tipping a barber. If they want an extra $2 for a haircut, then they should charge me that much.

Of course. I also tip at sonics (not 20 dollars), pizza delivery dude.
As well as waiters/waitress.

I'm not going to put money into a tip jar if no service has been preformed.
