What Portis has to say makes a lot of sense.

I can't defend Pacman's earlier troubles that put him squarely underneath a microscope (he made his bed), but I can certainly see this as a bit harsh given all we know.

I will agree that the media tends to blow things up when its a black athlete. UNfortunately, thats how the media operates these days. Especially when its a huge "Lightening Rod" like Pacman.
