And hey that's a nice theory or maybe what you think should happen but you can't make it happen when it won't work.

Davis has been disappointing, he's been injury prone. At the same time he's played on a team with no WR's and no QB for his entire career. It's hard to ask him to be a game changer he is literally the only weapon on the team in the pass game.

That's a general statement I've made.....athletic pass catching TE's are the norm in the league today. It means you don't give Tony Gonzalez the contract he has because one he is a TE and 2 the position isn't that hard to fill because there are tons of athletic guys who play TE now.

I still think it's ridiculous he was a top 10 pick because the position isn't that valuable.
