1) Drafting high is not all about the 1st round pick. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks are all picks that should net one of the top 100 players in the draft. Those are huge picks in rebuilding.

3) If LJ doesn't bring at least a 2nd round pick, then he doesn't bring the value necessary to part with him.

4) My original point is that the Chiefs have too many holes to fill to create another by cutting or trading LJ. The Chiefs must acquire a MLB, OLB, DE, OT, OG, QB and CB. That's a lot to fill. Adding RB to the list would not be a wise move.
