Not Officially, but it's something that's been gnawing at me for a while( over a year, to be truthful ).

With the advent of digital media, those who can visualize but who aren't "artists" in the traditional sense, now have the tools to at least try.

And I've slowly learned the medium. The first thing I threw out to the Chiefs Coalition was, by all artistic standards, a "disasterpiece of the highest order". The technique wasn't there( by a longshot ), but the idea was.And I learned from it. The most important thing I learned was where the boundaries lie in terms of the overall design. I learned from the old-school diehards just what it was about the Chiefs Uni that kept them in check/step, and what lines would best be left uncrossed.

And so I worked a few more months after the initial "throw out", and I found exactly what I was looking for. I took the next level of my design to a different forum, comprised of a wide demographic of fans, and put the new work out there.
The feedback? Overwhelmingly positive. I knew I had landed exactly where I needed to be, and that my "digital skills" had gotten better along the way.
The final piece was something that I had initially forsaken any idea of producing because I felt that the current design not only worked with what I had, but that it was the "ace in the hole" in terms of tying it all together and gaining a wider acceptance. So I blew it off.

Then yesterday, I decided for no reason whatsoever to fire-up AutoCad and give it a go.

I was about 45+minutes in to my work and breaking ground when the "latest sports news" note landed in Kevin Keitzman's hand; Carl was gone.
To be doing what I was doing when that happened; I honestly think I started to work at the very minute Carl realized in his head and heart that it was truly over. Or at least somewhere close to that time.
I guess the Chiefs are just something I love enough to really try and work hard at and experiment with outside of the art-medium I am best known for.
