Its not as glamorous as some of the others but has an old Kansas City feel and a good steak, the Majestic Steak House on Broadway in downtown.

For all the catcalls about chains, Outback and Texas Roadhouse have never resulted in anything less than a great meal.

That said, my parents reported that their last visit [party of 6] to Outback [Metcalf], two people got their steaks WAAAY effed up. A bit of a pain, but it resulted in new steaks for all, and EVERYTHING getting comped, including desserts for all that they hadn't initially ordered, and didn't plan on ordering until Management insisted.

Sounds like the new cook didn't work out.
