So We're Picking Somewhere Between 2 and 4 Correct?

It's between us, the Rams, and Seahawks, correct?

If we lose next week and:

Rams win we pick 2
Rams lose we pick 3

If we win next week and:

Seahawks lose we pick 4

Is that correct?

Being that the Chiefs can't do anything right, I see them picking 4th.

It really doesn't matter where we pick. We need to make a major play to move up for Stafford.

LOL. I just didn't know if Seahawks' 3-13 would trump our 3-13. If it doesn't then it seems it really is down to us and the Rams (who of course blew a 4Q lead today)...

I agree on the Stafford thinking. We need to start this rebuild with a young franchise QB. We have a awesome young backup, lets compliment him with a true #1 QB.

Most likely. Your analysis ignores the slight chance that we could still pass the Rams on the SOS tiebreaker, but is close enough.

Seattle has a weaker SOS as of now and would probably pick before us if we both ended up at 3-13.

Hard to make a call with the new GM to yet be named but KC doesn't have a history of trading up all that much.

I guess it could change but with Clark dedicated to building young I don't see us giving up a bunch of picks to draft a few spots higher.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

As young as the defense already is, I would like to see us add a few vets with leadership qualities, a real DC, and maybe a young LB or two in the draft. I hope we focus on QB, OT, and LB in the first 3 rounds. Lets sell out and get a veteran DE in free agency.

2,3,or 4, no biggie. We need to build that D...even in Pigpens struggles today, they put up 31.
DE, LB and an O line man are needed ahead of QB.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I just checked and it is mathematically impossible for us to have a weaker SOS than Seattle. If we are both a 3-13, they will draft first.

It's a possibility. Bulger is getting constantly injured or is ineffective, and their back-up QB is at retirement age.
