Am I being a prude or have the rules of dating changed DRASTICALLY?

I have a 40 something girlfriend who is still married but has been separated for almost two years. There has been no movement towards an actual divorce. She has moved in with her boyfriend of three months. She has a tweenage daughter.

I am shocked, mortified, and worried beyond belief about her daughter. The woman is an adult and can do what she wants but I worry about the impact on her little girl.

My question is what type of guy does this? And am I being too harsh in my reaction to her decision????

It was yesterday morning. I'm on painkillers, but I went back to work today. I couldn't talk much, which is what I do for a living so it was a pretty easy day. I don't have dry socket, I'm trying to avoid it. Heh, a lot more editing on the typing than normal. Thanks doc.

No one has asked this so I will. Is your friend really hot? Because she may be the best thing that has ever happened to him and he will do anything to be with her?
For the average guy to MOVE in after 3 months WITH a child in the picture...most men wouldn't unless..see above.

wisdom teeth are no fun. I could barely fit my football helmet on after I got mine in during high school my wisdom teeth were fully in when i got them out so there were these huge gaps in my teeth and a potato got in there for awhile. I just thought it was a molar until it popped out one day I was like OH GOD I AM LOOSING MY TEETH then it smelled like rotton food and i was like ahh it is a potato..i thought the meth was getting to me

The daughter's screwed, but some kids turn out okay anyway. If I had to bet, though, I'd say that the daughter learns that women derive their value from men; no man, no value. She'll be pregnant by age 17 because she equates sex with love and a child with companionship. She'll believe that the father will be trapped into staying with her forever, but she'll quickly find out that her skills in picking a mate are on par with her mother's.

I had a similar experience when I was separated from my spouse. I didn't date. Just took the time to be alone with my kids. I learned I could live alone quite easily. Some days I wonder why I stopped.

She's cute. Got a nice figure though. She's a very simple person and a pleaser. I would think she a dream for any guy looking for doormat.

This is what I'm afraid of. She has had at least a couple of other quickie romances (?) in the past year but the daughter was not aware of those. Thank God.
