Chris Landry of Fox Sports was a former member of the front office of the Browns when Pioli, and Belicek were there. He seemed to dance around a bit as he was trying to politely suggest that Scott Pioli might be staying in NE so long because he doesn't want to expose himself because Bill makes all the decisions in NE. He wasn't trashing him at all, but that was the implication I took from his words.
It was radio, so no TIVO = not transcript. Sorry. That said, I'd rather take a chance on Pioli than just about anyone on the list. But i have no idea what I"m doing either. |
