My wife had an active sex life before we were married. She for a long time lied about the # of people she had been with because she "thought it would upset me too much."

Come to find out, it didn't upset me when she finally told me. It wasn't anywhere near the # that I thought when she said it was more than she told me.

But, once that conversation started, we both completely opened up about past sexual experience and future sexual experiences. We both realized that, even though we had both been hiding things because of a fear of upsetting the other person, that we had a lot of things that we wanted to do again or wanted to try in the future.

It really was good for our relationship. Sure there are things that I could have gone without knowing as I'm sure that there are things she would have rather not known - but the end result has been a better relationship and a more active & experimental sex life.

These points are the same here.

You must have a open and good sex life IMO to have a great Marriage and we have both!
