KU drops to No. 18 in coaches’ poll; MU leaps to 10th

A little high for Mizzou. Just right for KU.

It is true that we don't have a lot of tradition.

If you'd told me that this Mizzou team would be where they are right now, I'd have taken it in a heart beat. (and thought you were a little silly.)

This season has been a huge success so far. I have to admit that #10 sounds a little high even to me.

They'll make the tourney, barring an epic collapse... anything after that is gravy.

Question:

Have you noticed that minus Frazod, every MU fan sooner rather than later gave props to the KU football team for the win at this years Border War, yet MU gets a win at home over their rival, and the Beakers go in to Turbo Douchenozzle Mode?

I sure as **** have.

New Slogan:

"KU Fans/Alumni; spoiled suburban douchebaggery, all the way to the apocalypse"!

Yep; that'd make a fine credit card, liscense plate, or collection of patio furnature, me thinks.

As far as I've seen nearly every KU fan has given props to MU for the win.

When is the last time (before this year) that Mizzou was ranked higher than KU?

Did it ever happen in the Snyder years?

Um, I was in the game thread before, during and after the game, and gave all sorts of props. I didn't run and hide. They won - what the **** else is there to be said?

I'm not THAT old, and my memory isn't shot just yet; you took a while to get there.

Danny Clinkscale (of all people) Mentioned today that the Mizzou men's baseball, football, and basketball teams have all reached the top 10 in consecutive seasons. (and you could throw wrestling in too.)

That's a pretty sweet little run for Mizzou athletics.

I guess that'd be props to Mike Alden.

Mizzou on the front page of ESPN's college bb page. Back to being the media darlings.

Top ten in basketball and football in the same year. Sweet.

KC_Connection, you are such a ****tard.

All he did in post #10 was say that he was pretty happy that both the FB team and the BB team got ranked in the top 10. NO Big deal, wasn't rubbing it in anyone's face, or trying to throw FB into it.

Then it's all BB until you start saying in post #53 that MU fans are trying to bring FB into the discussion, when in fact they didn't, you did.

Then you have several post saying you don't know why this has turned to FB and silly MU fans. You were stirring the pot as usual.

I believe frazod gave me congratulations rep the night it happened.

It's funny that you single out frazod and say "every Mizzou fan except him", yet spread a couple of KU fans' comments across the board.

See what you want to see, but for the most part fans on both sides are in agreement that it's better when both programs are good and the games are meaningful, for football and basketball.... and most of us acknowledge the other team's success.

It's just that when it happens so much more often on one side...

It's all about perspective.

And I refuse to dignify that last comment with a quote.
