the most asinine argument to make is the one where YOU act like you actually know more than these guys who have lived this shit their whole lives, not just played video games and researched on their computer

Great close the forum then, since none of us work in the NFL none of us know anything or should question anything.

Shut it down!

That's the whole point of the message board. Same thing as sports talk radio. Fans debating and questioning the organizations.

We all act like we know.

There needs to be less focus on Mecca. Dude is a freak about the draft. Seems to study and follow it closely, and, as a general rule, he tends to know more about the draft than the average poster on this site.

No big deal. Doesn't mean you have to agree or believe him.

Mecca rains on the hope parade with truth it's been that way for years...in the end I end up being right and people admit it later but that doesn't tone it down at the time.

Truth? What "truth"? Start with the Bills...

Bills sack numbers:

2004: 45
2005: 38
2006: 40
2007: 26
2008: 24

YPC:

2004: 3.6
2005: 4.5
2006: 4.7
2007: 4.4
2008: 4.3

It's pretty clear that Krumrie wasn't the 'problem' with that Buffalo line. So, what significant move happened between 2004 and 2005, when the numbers for the run defense jumped up and have never recovered?

Pat Williams went to Minnesota.

Shockingly, we also see that the drop in the sack production happened after Krumrie was gone completely from the team and Schobel's play went into decline, from 14 sacks to 6 sacks to just 1 sack and 5 games this past season.
