Hopefully a 6th rounder. We will definitely need the LB depth with 3-4. I just have a lot more questions now with switching to the 3-4. We now have 4 spots on our weakest position, LB. I know that we are going to be asking a lot of players to move and do things they have never really done before.

Where do we fill all these LB holes?
What is Dorsey's role?
Who's our NT? Tank?
What will Hali play? LB or DE?

This is going to be very scary/interesting.
Well, I'm going with optimism today, and I'm voting for interesting.

This is complete speculation because we aren't working with Belichick, and honestly don't know what we're going to in the immediate future on defense...but, just from what I've noticed over the years, and as supported in this link, the Pats way of defense was diversity. My guess is that a lot of our defensive guys will be given 2-3 positions at the beginning of camp and they'll look to see where more abilities may lie by working them through everything.

Kind of a fluff piece, but he's on our team now, so enjoy! Watch the video on his profile - Top 10 Most Versatile Players: Mike Vrabel

Sitting here and complaining about a 6th or 7th round draft pick is nit-picking.

I'll take the guy who could help groom young players, and teach how to win and be a professional every day of the week over rolling the dice on a 6th or 7th round draft pick's potential.

Wasn't available in FA? (Lewis, as an example)

Some of you guys are acting like Vrabel is the second coming of Vince Lombardi in the leadership department.

God forbid that we cultivate our own leaders.

This is all about teaching a defense and not about his long term contributions.

It's like some of you expected to be the Cardinals next year. Let's see what we had to pay before getting all excited about it.

Oh so you have to rush the passer in order to be an impact player on defense? He doesn't have to be Derrick Thomas just so much as he is a great player get it?

What great year in and year out contending Superbowl team was led by it's cover backer?

Did Keith Bulluck will the Titans to a playoff win this year?

Agree to disagree, Frank. I respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it.

This franchise has been conditioned to think that draft picks are worthless, just because Carl pissed away the vast majority of them in the last 20 years.

I'll take future potential over a 1-2 year rental every time.

Well it depends what they traded for him, if it's a 6th round pick I'm not saying much more often than not those end up like Jeff Webb.

.......you brought him up I didn't.

LB is the RB of defense unless they are an outstanding pass rusher that's what I was talking about.
