Who gives a crap what round Cassel was drafted? He's good now. If they got Brady would you pissing and moaning they got a sixth round qb?

I wouldn't automatically assume Curry is the #3 pick.

Pioli isn't stupid, he knows what the value of inside LB's are. I could see us trading down and taking a more workman-like guy over taking somebody with limited game-breaking credentials at #3.

I don't like the fact that there is no longevity in this deal. We only get Cassel for one year. Two things could happen. What if Cassel is the next Tom Brady, how are we going to keep him? What kind of rights would the Chiefs have for him after next year?

Steps are being taken to shore up those areas as well.

Vrabel = excellent leadership & mentor as well as player.

We still have the draft & FA to address WR and other defensive needs.

Sending Jared Allen packing instead of LJ will go down as Carl Peterson's most braindead move.....
